The Division of Human Resources is comprised of a number of different units which provide a range HR services.
Client Services
Client Services is responsible for providing quality service across a range of human resource policy and advice areas. In the provision of this service, staff contribute to the success of the University by working in partnership with clients to ensure the University is a preferred destination and a supportive workplace for outstanding staff.
Equity and Diversity
The Equal Opportunity Unit provides a range of information, advice, programs and services in support of the development of an inclusive working environment that promotes and values equity and diversity for all staff. The Unit works towards equal opportunity and freedom from unlawful discrimination, harassment and bullying in the learning and working environment for staff and students.
Employee Remuneration and Benefits Services
Employee Remuneration and Benefits Services provide a range of strategic and operational services for the University and its staff including payroll, systems administration, and superannuation administration.
Organisational Development
In order to support the realization of the University’s Growing Esteem strategy, Organisational Development offer an extensive range of learning and development programs, consultancies and individualised coaching.
Themis Systems and Reporting
The Themis HR team deals with various Human Resources management system requirements including data table maintenance, system issues and general reporting for departments and government bodies.
Workplace Relations and Health
Workplace Relations is involved in the provision of industrial advice and support to management as well as dispute management and resolution. The Workcover unit aims to assist employees to remain at work or return to work at the earliest opportunity following an injury or illness.
