Training and Information Sessions
Staff of the Fairness and Diversity Unit are available to conduct targeted workshops, information sessions and briefings to staff, supervisors/managers or students on unlawful discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment, Bullying, workplace flexibility and work-family issues, and other topics pertaining to equity and diversity. Online training in discrimination, harassment and bullying
The Promoting Positive Workplace Behaviours course supports the University’s commitment to raising staff awareness of discrimination, harassment and bullying. This online course covers relevant state and federal equal opportunity legislation and University of Melbourne policy.
The Promoting Positive Workplace Behaviours course is part of the University induction program and all new continuing and fixed-term staff are required to successfully complete the online course. New staff are required to complete the course within the probation period or within their first six months of employment if the probationary period exceeds six months.
You can undertake the course at a convenient time and location, using any computer with internet access. It takes approximately 85 minutes to complete the six modules. Upon completion of the course you will have full access to the training modules for future reference.
