Anti-Discrimination Advisers
A network of Anti-Discrimination Advisers (ADAs) provides advice and support for staff and students with concerns regarding discrimination.
The ADA's role is to be a first point of contact if you believe you have been discriminated against. An ADA can provide advice and guidance on the University's complaints resolution process and make a referral to other procedures or appropriate University services. An ADA will assist you to deal effectively with a situation or issue that is seen as discriminatory. Each matter will be approached with confidentiality and impartiality.
An ADA is not an advocate or legal expert and does not 'judge' whether you are right or wrong. Anything you discuss with an ADA will remain confidential.
For confidentiality reasons, it is best to speak to an Adviser outside of your faculty or division.
