Sport and Recreation Membership
Description
Eligible staff have the option to salary sacrifice membership for the Melbourne University Sports and Recreation Membership.
Membership can be paid from pre-tax salary and provides access to a range of sporting facilities and services.
What is allowable?
Membership fees for the staff member.
Taxation issues / status
The provision of recreational facilities on an employer's business is exempt from FBT.
Substantiation Documentation
No substantiation is required.
Form of Payment
Full-time and part-time University of Melbourne staff can salary package the Membership from their fortnightly salary.
Package Cost
The cost of the membership. There is no administrative charge.
