Sport and Recreation Membership Fees
Description
Staff have the option to salary sacrifice membership for the Melbourne University Sports and Recreation Membership. Membership can be paid from pre tax salary.
Membership provides access to a range of sporting facilities including gymnasium and aerobics.
What is allowable?
Membership fees for the staff member.
Taxation issues / status
The provision of recreational facilities on an employers business is exempt from FBT.
Substantiation Documentation
No substantiation is required.
Form of Payment
Membership fees are deducted from your fortnightly salary.
Package Cost
The cost of the membership. There is no administrative charge.
