Academic Promotions

Professorial (Level E)
Applications are being called from eligible staff for promotion to Professor in 2009.
Eligibility
There is no qualifying period of employment before staff can apply for promotions. The performance of an applicant must be assessed as at least 'good' in the most recent annual review under the University's Performance Development Framework, and this must be confirmed by the Head of Department or nominee.
Re-applying
Staff can re-apply in the next year if unsuccessful.
The Senior Appointments and Promotions Committee determines promotion to Professor.
