University Course Fee Discount

The University of Melbourne is offering staff and their immediate families a substantial discount to undertake further study at the University. This staff benefit has been developed to contribute to the professional development of staff and to encourage their ongoing commitment to the University.

The policy offers a discount of up to 25% to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff and their families, providing them with the opportunity to study full fee paying graduate courses and Community Access Program (CAP) subjects at the University. Discounts for immediate family will be pro-rata according to the time fraction of the staff member.

The courses of study that are recognised to which the policy applies include all University of Melbourne graduate courses, with the exception of those listed in the Staff Development, Education and Training Procedure (MPF1149)—Schedule B: Course Exemptions (.pdf).

Application process

Applications for the University Fee Discount should be submitted with the course enrolment form. Additional information is available from the relevant Student Centre.
