University Network for Equal Opportunity
The University Network for Equal Opportunity (UNEO) supports the role of faculty EO Coordinators, and the faculty EO Committees, in monitoring equity and diversity and developing initiatives within faculties.
Since 1999, senior academic staff have been appointed by each Dean to coordinate equal opportunity initiatives within the faculty. Titles for positions coordinating this work vary across faculties, but the roles are similar. The role is to develop equity and diversity strategies and report to the Dean and Faculty Executive on equity and diversity for both academic and professional staff.
